Introducing The GenderQueer Shop

The GenderQueer ShopOur little family of lesbian friendly sites is starting to grow, and we would like to introduce you to our newest sister site, The GenderQueer Shop. Born from our love of gender fluidity but seeing the struggle that some have finding sex toys and genderwear that fits their needs, The GenderQueer Shop is designed to help you connect with the right products to allow you to be who you really are.

One of the main focuses of The GenderQueer Shop is faux body parts for those who wish to add to their existing anatomy. For the FTM lesbians out there, a line of packing dildos, shapewear, and other items to help you bring out that masculine side can be found. We also provide products for those MTF lovers wishing to explore their feminine side, with false breasts and clothing that will help you accentuate those curves. No matter how you view your gender – or none at all – The GenderQueer Shop is there to help you explore your other sides.

In addition to the transwear and other gender related products, The GenderQueer Shop also carries the same generalist sex toys that you find on most mainstream sites. You’ll find popular brands like RodeoH, Tantus and Stockroom, as well as more mass marketed brands like Pipedreams, KinkLab and Fetish Fantasy. Our items are discounted over their usual retail price. In addition, Lesbians Unlimited readers have access to an exclusive coupon code – LULOVESGQ15 – to save 15% off your order. This code can be used on everything online (excluding the gift cards) and is valid on top of the already reduced prices.

If you’re not quite sure what to get or have some questions, getting in touch with the ladies who run The GenderQueer Shop is very easy. You can send then an email which will be replied to within 48 hours, or you can drop them a tweet at @GenderQueerShop. (If it’s a private matter, they’ll DM you with replies!) Packing Dildos – Yes, I’m Happy To See You

For many men making the transition from female to male, packing (or wearing a dildo under the clothes) is one of the first changes they make to alter their gender expression. The team over at Pleasure Works has created a product that helps those making that transition by creating an authentic phallus that can be worn on the body. This isn’t a sex toy – the packing dildos from Pleasure Works are meant to be worn in your underwear to help you create the ‘penis look’ that you’re after.

Angel’s Sex Toys carries the Softskin Packers in three different skin shades – a rather light “Vanilla”, a more tanned “Caramel” and a ebony packer in “Coffee”.

Called the “Sailor” by Pleasure Works, they come in two different lengths. The Pleasure Works Sailor 1 measures 4 inches long by 1.38 inches thick, while the Pleasure Works Sailor 2 comes in slightly longer at 6 inches long, with the same 1.38 inch thickness.

For the L-Word fans, this was the style of packing dildo that Max Sweeney wore in some of his sex scenes – nothing that’s too erect and used for penetration, but there enough to know that there’s certainly something going on down there! We love the fact that it’s also waterproof, so you can slip a pair between you and your Speedos when you’re showing off your stuff at the beach!

These non-latex packing dildos are made from lifelike feeling materials, and are easily washable with gentle soap and water. They can be worn in the majority of ‘brief’ style underwear, including jock straps, jockey shorts and even RodeoH underwear harnesses. You want to pick a pair of underwear that can hold it against your body – boxer shorts typically won’t work unless you are wearing a packing harness underneath.

RodeoH PKG Black Red Hot Short Review

A while ago I saw that product testers were wanted for the latest pair of RodeoHs –RodeoHs PKG– and I thought why not. These looked superb and I knew they would be a great addition to my growing RodeoH collection. The very cool part is that without looking extra closely, you wouldn’t even know that the shorts can also be used as a strap on harness. I guess someone will have to just come look extra closely.

RodeoH harness

Quick and dirty stats.

The RodeoH hot shorts were made based on customer feedback of earlier RodeoH products. They are made from 95% cotton and 5% spandex. They can be purchased in various sizes ranging from 25 to 41 inches and you’re advised to select a size smaller than what you would usually buy for appropriate use of the harness. A size guide is available on the RodeoH website. All RodeoH products come in a care bag with dog tags.

Overall feel and fit.

For me, RodeoH have changed the game when it comes to strap on harnesses. Using customer feedback, the new shorts are an even better harness in my opinion. The shorts stay tighter to your body compared with the original boxers and briefs as they have a double layer of fabric. This makes you feel more in control during use as a strap on harness. The dildo stays firmly in place thanks to the double layer of fabric and the reinforced front panel. However, I don’t think they’re quite as comfortable as the original boxers and briefs as regular underwear.

Usability.

I can easily say that the RodeoH harnesses will be the fastest you have ever put on and put to use. A flared based dildo with a base diameter of 1.5 to 2 inches is inserted from the back of the opening in the front of the shorts. The different opening design at the front of the shorts means they can be used with a double dildo as well. As an extra added bonus, there is also a pocket for a bullet vibe right above the O ring. The shorts can also be used for packing.

Clean up and storage.

All RodeoHs are machine washable at a low temperature, hung to dry and quickly ready for more action. I would recommend washing the shorts by hand the first time they need washing as the red die may run in to the white cuffs. No need to store this harness in a toy cupboard. They can sit nicely next to your regular underwear.

Value for money.

The RodeoH hot shorts retail at $59.99 in the online store which includes US domestic shipping. International shipping is also available and it’s very reasonably priced. You can buy them at RodeoH.com. I believe the RodeoH hot shorts are worth every penny. My collection will surely be expanding. You can buy the shorts in the UK from Lovehoney for £39.99.

**Review Disclaimer – I purchased the RodeoH hot shorts at a discounted rate as part of a volunteer testing group. This review is based on those tests and were not solicoted as an online review by RodeoH.com.

Live a Sexier Live

My partner and I had been eyeing up Rodeoh harness briefs for quite a while. We both have quite specific tastes when it comes to dildo harnesses, and the Rodeohs looked like something that would tick all our boxes.

How specific? For me, I don’t like strap on harnesses that have a belt that doubles as a thong. I either prefer to wear those that look like shorts / briefs, or those that have leg straps rather than crotch straps. I also don’t really like plastic or PVC harnesses. That pretty much eliminates 90% of the dildo harnesses out there. (Mrs is pretty much the same, but isn’t so picky about the materials.) We recently sent our best shorts-style strap-on to harness heaven (yes, overuse) and we were actively looking for a new one. That’s when we spotted Rodeohs underwear harnesses.

Mrs picked out the Black & Red Brief that is the ‘classic’ Rodeohs style. After a few days, it arrived in our post box. The Rodeohs briefs came in their own little storage satchel as well as a pair of dog tags with the Rodeohs label imprinted. We had purchased a new pair of dildos for the occasion, and got right to work that night trying them out!

Overall Feel & Fit: Rodeohs suggest that you purchase a size smaller than usual to get a proper fit for use as a harness. Mrs did just that. Even though they are slightly smaller than her usual briefs, they were comfortable enough for her to wear around the house a few hours before we put them to work. We aren’t the ‘packing’ sort of lesbians, but if we were, these would be the kind of harness that we’d certainly wear. The materials are soft, without any pokes, prods or pinches that you can get standard dildo harnesses. Comfortable enough to wear as a regular pair of underwear.

Where can you get Rodeohs?

US: Angel’s Sex Toys has a number of RodeoH’s harnesses on sale, as well as the Tantus dildos that fit them very well.

UK: Lovehoney carries the briefs online, but you can also get them at the Sh! Store in London.

Usability: My only complaint about the Rodeohs is that the O-ring is not interchangeable. This isn’t a huge problem, since the O-ring that is in there is designed to hold dildos that are five to six inches long and one and a half to two inches in thickness – which pretty much covers all our dildos. You’ll need to use a dildo with a flared base for these. Getting the dildo inserted is a snap. Just pull the fabric to one side, push the dildo through the hole, and adjust accordingly. As far as using it during sex, my biggest worry is that it wouldn’t hold the dildo tight enough against Mrs’s body, and we would have a floppy dong on our hands. That wasn’t the case at all! The Rodeohs held our dildo in place well enough that the thrusting action felt natural, but wasn’t so stiff that there was no give or movement at all. The perfect combo in my book. We’re tempted to put a Vac-U-Lock base behind the O-ring and have a try with a few of our Vac-U-Lock dildos to see how they work out!

Cleanup & Storage: The next morning, I washed the Rodeohs by hand in the sink with cold soapy water (the same time I cleaned off the dildos). They are currently drying in the window sill, and look like they did when Mrs took it out of the storage bag. We only plan on using these as a harness and not regular underwear, so we are hoping they last us a VERY long time.

Value for Money: At the time this blog was posted, Rodeoh briefs were available from Angel’s Sex Toys for $50, and the jockey shorts were selling for $50 as well. They also have recently come out with a pair of lace briefs for $50. We live in the UK, and tend to use Lovehoney for some of our sex toy purchases. They are selling the briefs for just under £40. Sh! Women’s Store, a UK based female-only sex toy shop, sells a few varieties between £40 and £45. While that it a bit more than we tend to spend on stand-alone harnesses, we are going to make the exception with the Rodeohs. Not only do we feel that they are worth their price, we plan on buying a few more in the coming months (the next one being a pair of the jockey shorts).
